Easter Eggxtravaganza

Here at Devonshire Square we have been raising awareness and supporting the British Red Cross' Clean Start Appeal. This appeal aims to supply safer water to nearly 400,000 people in Kenya and Bangladesh. In aid of supporting this cause, we have been collecting quality items that will be sold in British Red Cross shops. We have also been fundraising in support of our target of painting 1000 eggs and hanging them on the Easter Trees which are just next to the Main Gate of Devonshire Square. So far we have hung 530 eggs the trees which you can now go and see! #DSQEeasterEggxtravaganza #CleanWaterTrees

Shaun the Sheep arrives at Devonshire SQ!

In March, Shaun the Sheep will flock to London in the world’s first Baa-rilliant 'Shaun in the City’ public arts trail in aid of Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity to support sick children in hospitals throughout the UK. The trail will celebrate the Chinese Year of the Sheep, the release of the first Shaun the Sheep Movie, and Shaun’s status as an official icon of the 2015 Rugby World Cup hosted in the UK. 'Shaun in the City' sees 60 Sculptures of Shaun the Sheep designed by world famous artists, designers and celebrities placed in iconic locations across London in Spring 2015 and is expected to bring millions of visitors to the capital from across the world. The trail will include a public exhibition and VIP Auction in London in Autumn to raise money for the charity. We are delighted that 'Ruffles' is being displayed here now in the Western Courtyard. Be sure to come and pay him a visit! For more information please visit: http://shauninthecity.org.uk
