Shaun the Sheep arrives at Devonshire SQ!

In March, Shaun the Sheep will flock to London in the world’s first Baa-rilliant 'Shaun in the City’ public arts trail in aid of Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity to support sick children in hospitals throughout the UK. The trail will celebrate the Chinese Year of the Sheep, the release of the first Shaun the Sheep Movie, and Shaun’s status as an official icon of the 2015 Rugby World Cup hosted in the UK. 'Shaun in the City' sees 60 Sculptures of Shaun the Sheep designed by world famous artists, designers and celebrities placed in iconic locations across London in Spring 2015 and is expected to bring millions of visitors to the capital from across the world. The trail will include a public exhibition and VIP Auction in London in Autumn to raise money for the charity. We are delighted that 'Ruffles' is being displayed here now in the Western Courtyard. Be sure to come and pay him a visit! For more information please visit: http://shauninthecity.org.uk

DSQ Presents: Love Christmas Festival

We are delighted to inform you that this year Devonshire Square is partnering with The Connection, a charity that helps homeless people in London, to celebrate the spirit of giving. Our Western Courtyard is hosting a Christmas Wishing Tree entirely decorated with paper hearts on which the Devonshire Square Customer Experience Team have carefully transcribed all wishes expresses by the homeless guests of The Connection Charity Centre, to give their wishes the chance of being read and honoured by someone. The gifts that the homeless would love to receive are all basic items such as clothes, shoes, socks, blankets, simple household stuff for those who have been recently housed and new toiletries. If you wish to join Devonshire Square in supporting this great cause and make the less fortunate happy, you can bring your gifts to the DSQ Receptions. All collected items will be delivered to The Connection Charity on 22nd December. We are also happy to promote on our social media platforms any organization/company that is donating for this cause. The charity event will be supported by a month long programme of music from a talented array of bands, with performances by Abraxas Ensemble, Tenori ( with internationally acclaimed tenors Alexander Grove, Nicholas Ransley and John Hudson), the Enchorus Gospel Choir, Joglaresa, the High Society Brass Band and Sammie Jay.
